Tomomi Itano was a founding member of the Japanese supergroup, AKB48, known internationally for holding the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest pop act. In Japan, the group’s dominance of the charts is unprecedented with their singles regularly taking the top 5 slots on the yearly Oricon ranking. Performing with AKB48 for 8 years, ?gTomochin?h as known to her fans, was a perennial fan favourite and became the first member of the group to embark on a solo career.
The 2014 debut solo album, SxWxAxG, showed Tomomi’s sound evolve from her idol roots into a more global EDM style and her 6th single ?gCome Party!?h saw a collaboration with songwriters from South Korea and the USA.
